Graduate and ‘Year-Out’ Positions 2015
Turkington Martin are landscape architects and urban designers, providing creative design consultancy at all scales of planning and development. We are committed to high quality public realm design, providing an exemplary service to our varied clients. We have a really interesting range of urban projects at pre-planning, detailed design and implementation stages. These include complex public realm infrastructure associated with the development of new neighbourhoods, headquarters buildings, new city squares and housing projects.
We are now looking to expand our team with the appointment of a Graduate Landscape Architect and Year-Out placement, for immediate or early starts. The appointments represent real opportunities, to play a central role in the practice, acquire an excellent range of experience and develop professional and personal skills. Candidates for the Graduate position should hold a degree in Landscape Architecture and have successfully completed an accredited post-graduate diploma or MA in Landscape Architecture. Candidates for the ‘Year-Out’ placement must have successfully completed an accredited degree course in Landscape Architecture. Qualities & Skills required for both roles:
• Excellent communication and coordination skills, including the ability to sketch by hand.
• Excellent graphic and photomontage abilities.
• Strong CAD, Adobe Suite, Sketch-Up and MS Office Skills with experience in Revit, an advantage.
• Self-motivated with the initiative to work independently.
• Good planting knowledge.
