To celebrate the University of Greenwich winning the Manuel Ribas Piera International Landscape Schools Prize, MLA graduate Rhiannon Marshall designed and edited a New Coasts Studio publication with Prof. Ed Wall. The small book describes the studio approach and profiles the five projects that were submitted for the prize, including by Flynn Morton, Sam Simson, Hannes Ava, Rachel Clements, and Rhiannon Marshall. The publications includes contributions by Marina Cervera Alonso de Medina, the Director of the Barcelona International Landscape Biennial, and Prof. Jane Harrington, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Greenwich.
The award is part of the Barcelona International Biennial of Landscape Architecture, led by Marina Cervera. The Ribas Piera jury included Gary Hilderbrand, Huang Wenjing, Luis Callejas, Eulàlia Gómez-Escoda, and Hayriye Eşbah Tunçay.
