The University of Greenwich School of Design is delighted to invite you to the Public Lecture:

‘A 48 Minute Talk on Listening, Timing and Organising Sound by Graham Fitkin’

This talk is given by composer Graham Fitkin and includes audio excerpts of his own work, live examples of sounds and sporadic false silences.

Graham Fitkin composes for concerts, dance, film and digital media and runs his own ensemble of 9 soloists.  He has had commissions from the BBC Proms, Royal Opera House, New York City Ballet, Yo-Yo Ma, Powerplant, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, Shobana Jeyasingh Dance, Ockham’s Razor, Ensemble Bash, Sacconi Quartet and many others.  His music has been recorded by Sony, Decca, Bis, Factory and others. VL_Poster_No.2.jpg
