Landscape Architect Andrew Grant will deliver a public lecture at the University of Greenwich School of Design. After the outstanding landscape architecture lecture by Lynn Kinnear (KLA), and more recently the sold-out lecture by artist Richard Wilson (RA) last week, Andrew will lead us through his portfolio of award-winning landscape architecture projects.

Formed in 1997, Grant Associates explore the emerging frontiers of landscape architecture within sustainable development. He has a fascination with creative ecology and the promotion of quality and innovation in landscape design. Each of his projects responds to the place, its inherent ecology and its people. About Andrew Grant
Andrew Grant is recognised as global pioneer for his sustainable and ecological landscape architecture. Based in Bath, Grant Associates was founded by Andrew in 1997 to test the creative possibilities of sustainable landscape architecture and ecological place making. In 2012 he was awarded the title of RSA Royal Designer for Industry (RDI) in recognition of his pioneering global work in landscape architecture. He is a Visiting Professor for the Department of Landscape, Sheffield University, and an Honorary Fellow of the RIBA reflecting his work on key architectural projects such as the 2008 Stirling Prize winning Accordia.
Andrew led the multi-disciplinary design team on the £500 million Gardens by the Bay project at Bay South in Singapore. This 54 hectare public park has won multiple international design awards including the Building Project of the year at the 2012 World Architecture Festival and featured in David Attenborough’s Planet Earth 2. He is a co-founder of the Forest of Imagination project in Bath and Chair of the Bathscape Landscape Partnership. He is one of 12 experts chosen to speak at the first TEDx talk event held in Bath.
Andrew has won numerous awards including Forest of immigration, WWF Living Planet Centre, Gardens by the Bay, Church street, The Hive, Institute of Technical Education and many more.
