Renowned landscape architect James Corner is to speak at the University of Greenwich in November. Corner, whose firm Field Operations designed New York’s High Line and the South Park of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London, will give a lecture as part of the Hawksmoor International Open Lecture Series, at 6:30pm on November 19th.
The weekly series of open public lectures attracts leading voices in architecture, art and landscape architecture. Last year the series included lectures by, among others, Will Alsop, Eelco Hoftman, Peter Wison and Michael Sorkin. This year’s speakers also include landscape architects, such as Marti Franch (Estudi Marti Franch) and Martin Rein-Cano (Topotek 1).
Further details of the lecture by James Corner, which is free and open to the public, will be announced over the coming months on www.thelandscape.org.
