Job Description
Studio Egret West is an award winning, highly creative, Architecture, Urban Design and Landscape practice located in Clerkenwell, London.
We are in a new phase of our studio’s evolution in our amazing new showroom and need to find a talented and enthusiastic person to join us.
We are looking for a landscape architect who has a love for landscape, urbanism and architecture. We have several new and exciting commissions that need gluing together with strong narratives as well as a number of existing projects that require an informed meticulous approach to detailing and construction.
Qualities and Skills Required:
o Post-graduate degree in Landscape Architecture with 3-5 years post graduate experience
o Excellent communication and coordination skills, including the ability to sketch/develop designs on paper as well as digitally,
o Experience of working directly with clients and other consultants,
o Advanced CAD (2D and 3D) and Adobe Suite skills, MS Office
o Experience of all work stages – concept through to construction
o Ability to work effectively in large project teams within an international environment,
o Initiative to work independently
o Fluency in English
o Relevant permit for working in the UK
Beneficial:
o Good planting knowledge
o Knowledge or experience of vertical landscapes, green walls and building integrated living systems,
o Knowledge of project management and site supervision,
o Immediate availability
o Rhino, Bentley Microstation and Building Information Modelling (BIM).
