Along with the new Stockwell Street development that will be home to the landscape programmes for 2014, the University of Greenwich has also invested in new student accommodation.
Daniel Defoe Hall, a new hall of residence near the Greenwich Campus will be opening in September 2014. The hall, located next to the Greenwich rail and Docklands Light Railway station approximately 15 minutes’ walk from the Greenwich Campus, will include 358 en-suite rooms for students in a mix of flat shares, studios and “mini-flats” for two students as well as a café and gym for residents. There will be Wi-Fi throughout the building as well as direct computer network access in each study bedroom (for which a charge will apply). Watch this space for more details and photos.
