Treeline is a new and ambitious project produced by Artichoke Trust, an extraordinary quest that links Europe’s ancient forests through an epic cycling adventure through 8 countries.
The project will celebrate the enduring spirit of these forests, fostering a deeper connection between people and the ancient natural world that surrounds them.
Treeline is conceived of and led by composer, musician, and tree-enthusiast Graham Fitkin. He will traverse the continent’s oldest woodlands by bicycle performing new work in 30 concerts in towns, cities and villages along the way. The music will be directly inspired by trees chosen specially by local people in each location.
Graham Fitkin presented at the University of Greenwich in 2019. Vote for Treeline here (until 11 November).
