Young People Making Places

Join Cement Fields online on Thursday 20 July to explore the power of young people in shaping places and question how we can make more space for youth-led design.

The webinar will bring together a range of projects and organisations working with young people through design and community-led placemaking.

The speakers include:

→ Young people from our Ebbsfleet Design Group, part of This Must Be the Place (@thismustbetheplaceebbs)
→ Larry Botchway, Founding Partner of The POoR Collective (@poor_collective)
→ Anna Francis and Rebecca Davies, Co-Directors of The Portland Inn Project (@theportlandinnprojectcic)
→ Sahra Hersi, Artist, spatial designer and educator (@sahra_hersi)
→ Huan Rimington, Founding Director of Build Up (@build_up_foundation)

Chaired by The Glass-House Community Led Design (@glasshousecld).

This event is co-produced by Cement Fields and The Glass-House Community Led Design as part of This Must Be the Place – our long-term placemaking project in Ebbsfleet, working with young people to explore and shape the new garden city as it is built.
